Drive cameras:Drive cameras are being installed in the ambulances. This is a national initiative that focuses on the safety of driving and operation of the emergency vehicle. The cameras do not constantly record, and access to any recorded footage is limited to select authorized personnel. The footage is buffered and is only saved when there a measurable incident (accident, sudden acceleration, etc). When this occurs, the buffered footage is then recorded for a period of time before and after the incident. The Company’s expectation is that the employees will not tamper with, deface, or otherwise attempt to modify the functionality of the equipment. We will be sending out more information and clearer expectations before the cameras are activated.
